Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar confirmed that driving license checks are being carried out alongside e-challan enforcement he acknowledged minor technical glitches but emphasized that the government is committed to improving overall traffic control officials insist that the expansion is part of a larger plan to strengthen road safety measures throughout Sindh.

Karachi Sees Massive E-Challan Collections in a Month
Karachi Traffic Police reported collecting more than Rs710 million in just one month through the e-challan system over 93,000 challans were generated reflecting widespread enforcement of traffic rules the majority of violations were linked to seat belt and helmet usage, highlighting the authorities focus on common yet critical traffic regulations.
Motorcycle riders and private vehicle drivers were among the most frequent violators overspeeding signal violations, and other infractions are being closely monitored with digital trackers and automated systems, ensuring timely and accurate penalties. Officials continue to urge citizens to adhere to traffic rules for their safety and to avoid fines.
