Officials revealed that the new secure phone was produced under a pilot program aimed at strengthening digital security for government departments the phone lacks any backup options, making it impossible to extract stored information even if the device is lost or stolen the absence of internet and commercial apps further protects government communications from interception or tracking.

NTC briefed higher authorities that ten devices have been manufactured in the initial phase, and additional funding will be required to begin large-scale production. The agency emphasized that commonly used platforms like WhatsApp are not suitable for official conversations because service providers have access to user data.
